Prerequisites:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- PPE – CSA approved helmet, steel toe boots, gloves and weather appropriate and modest clothing (no shorts or tank tops)
- Bagged lunch
- Government Issued Photo I.D.
- Snowmobile (1 per person)
Knowing all you can about your Snowmobile and the places you can ride is the best preparation for safe and enjoyable riding. The Snowmobile Rider’s course is a 5-7 hour “all hands on” training program based on field-proven techniques, provides a fun and orderly way to learn proper Snowmobile operation. The rider learns about controls, reading terrain, turning, and climbing hills.
There are additional job and/or Snowmobile manufacturer regulations that you must adhere to as you operate an Snowmobile. Examples include: PPE standards and public land restrictions.
