Certification: St. John Ambulance or Canadian Red Cross

Valid: 3 years

Prerequisites:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • 1 piece of Government Issued Photo I.D.
  • Wear appropriate clothing for working in close contact with other students
  • Wear socks
  • Be medically and physically apt to perform floor-work and first aid related activities

This course meets first aid requirements for:

  1. WorkSafeBC – New November 2024 First Aid Requirements
  2. Canada Labour Code - Basic First Aid.
  3. CSA Z1210-17
  4. ILCOR standards
