Knowing all you can about your Snowmobile and the places you can ride is the best preparation for safe and enjoyable riding. The Snowmobile Rider’s course is a 5-7 hour “all hands on” training program based on field-proven techniques, provides a fun and orderly way to learn proper Snowmobile operation. The rider learns about controls, reading terrain, turning, and climbing hills.

There are additional job and/or Snowmobile manufacturer regulations that you must adhere to as you operate an Snowmobile. Examples include: PPE standards and public land restrictions.

Prerequisites

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • PPE – CSA approved helmet, steel toe boots, gloves and weather appropriate and modest clothing (no shorts or tank tops)
  • Bagged lunch
  • Government Issued Photo I.D.
  • Snowmobile (1 per person) (Alpha can supply snowmobiles)
