Valid: 3 years
Prerequisites: Be at least 18 years old and provide one piece of gov't issued photo ID.

Course Outline: Our workplace integrated Forklift Operator training program has been designed for those who are required to be trained to safely undertake work activities that involve the operation of a telehandler/zoom boom. This program uses a mix of training theory and practical telehandler/zoom boom operation to provide the driving skills needed to meet the CSA Standard B335.
This course will provide you with a telehandler/zoom boom operator certificate that meets and exceeds WorkSafeBC standards.
Students will spend the morning in the classroom learning background information, legislation, basic principals of safe operation, load handling, and miscellaneous systems and issues. The afternoon is spent
For employers, this course will provide valuable documentation regarding the employees competency to safely operate a telehandler/zoom boom. Every course culminates in a practical skills evaluation where students are assessed for their ability to safely and competently operate the telehandler/zoom boom, as well as, there ability to thoroughly complete a pre-use inspection.
This course is ideally suited for students/employees who have some previous experience operating a telehandler/zoom boom. Attempting the course with no previous experience may result in additional training being required before competency can be demonstrated and certification received.
