CPR-HCP is an advanced CPR course for health care professionals.
Description
Certification: St. John Ambulance or Red C
Valid: Yearly Refresher Recommended
Prerequisites:

Be at least 16 years of age.

Government Issued Photo I.D.

Wear modest clothing (no tanks) for working in close contact with other students

Be medically and physically apt to perform floor-work and first aid related activities
Basic Life Support (BLS) refers to a level of CPR training aimed at those working, or planning to work, in the healthcare field. BLS-CPR can be taken on its own, or paired with a Standard First Aid course.
Course content includes:
The course covers responding to an emergency; resuscitation for Adults, Children, and Infants; two-rescuer CPR for each all age groups; bag-valve mask use; and responding as part of a team.
**Annual certification in CPR and AED is recommended.**
