- Wear modest clothing (no tanks) for working in close contact with other students
- Wear Socks
- Be fit to perform floor-work and first aid related activities
Course Description
This course is ideal for ensuring workplace safety and preparing employees to handle more complex emergencies effectively.
The training equips you to handle scenarios with more severe injuries or multiple casualties. Over two days, you'll learn advanced techniques like handling chest & abdominal injuries and performing rescue carries, ensuring you're prepared for any emergency.
The Intermediate First Aid course aligns with CSA Z1210-17, meets the Canada Labour Code and ILCOR standards, and is recognized by WorkSafeBC. This course also meets the BC Ministry of Health's licensing regulations for residential care and childcare facilities.
This course meets the CSA standards for Intermediate First Aid.
This course meets Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Workplace First Aid (WFA) standards, but is not recognized by CNESST in the province of Québec.
This course meets the requirements for:

- WorkSafeBC OFA Level 1
