You'll learn the latest first aid and CPR guidelines and techniques that meet legislative requirements for the Federal or Provincial Authority Having Jurisdiction over first aid training for the workplace. Additionally, the course content meets the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) standard Z1210 for Intermediate first aid. Be the difference, learn first aid, save a life!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TAKING THE BLENDED COURSE
The cost for the online portion is included when registering for this course and classroom component.
To receive certification, you must successfully complete:
- the online component (including passing the online knowledge evaluation)
- the classroom component.
- Please bring verification of online component completion (proof of completion can be printed upon successful completion of all content) to the classroom.
- Once you have registered for a Blended Learning Course with Alpha Training Solutions you will receive an email from Canadian Red Cross outlining how to access the online component for the course. You will receive this email within 24-48hours of registering for the course with Alpha Training Solutions. Please allow a minimum of 72 hours between registering and when your classroom training is scheduled for. If you require training in less than 72 hours please let us know.
- Once you complete these instructions, you will be able to access your course by going to myrc.redcross.ca > My Profile> My Online Courses.
Prerequisites
The online portion of this blended course MUST be completed and passed BEFORE attending the classroom portion of the course. No certification will be issued if a student fails to complete the online portion before attending the classroom portion.
